Cantina Colli Morenici: wines from the Garda hills, in the heart of Lombardy
Cantina Colli Morenici is a historic wine cooperative located in Ponti sul Mincio, in the Upper Mantuan area, just a few steps from the southern shores of Lake Garda, in Lombardy, Northern Italy. Founded in 1959, the winery has been producing high-quality wines since its first vintage in 1963, with a strong focus on tradition, innovation, and respect for the land.
The vineyards are located in a unique terroir, shaped by glacial activity and rich in mineral soils. The mild microclimate of Lake Garda creates ideal conditions for vine growing and winemaking, resulting in wines with character, freshness, and elegance.
Each stage of production – from the vineyard to the bottle – is guided by strict quality protocols and a deep passion for viticulture. Constant investments in technology and research ensure that every bottle reflects the best expression of the Colli Morenici terroir.
Lake Garda: a land of wine, nature, and history
Lake Garda, Italy’s largest lake, stretches across Lombardy, Veneto, and Trentino-Alto Adige. Formed by glacial and tectonic movements, the area has a rich Roman and medieval heritage and is today one of Italy’s most popular destinations for wine tourism and cultural travel.
The Garda hills, especially in the Mantuan area, are renowned for their long winemaking tradition, producing white, red, and rosé wines that express the essence of this enchanting region.
